FAQ

Questions and Answers

Email us at

Do you need to sell a minimum number of tickets to hold the gathering?

Yes. In an effort to provide you with the best craftsman, vendors and instructors we can, we will need to guarantee them at least a certain minimum number of attendees. We want to make sure coming to the gathering is not only fun, but advantageous for them.

How will I know if the gathering is a go?

If we have not sold the minimum required tickets by Aug 16, 2017, we will cancel the event and refund all money for tickets purchased. As soon as we have met the minimum number of attendees, I will post here. I don't foresee any reason why we won't meet the minimum long before August. I'm not worried about the event getting cancelled, but don't let that stop you from spreading the word! Tell all your friends, enemies, everyone you meet on the street to buy their ticket today!

What can I do to help?

One of the great things about this community is that everyone is ready and willing to help out when needed! The Uitwaaien Bushcraft Gathering is no different; it wouldn't be possible without the help of volunteers. If you're looking to help out over the weekend, send us an email, and we'll see what help we still need. In appreciation for helping out, all volunteers will receive a special "Staff" edition of the Uitwaaien t-shirt. We will also offer admission discounts and prize giveaways depending on your availability.

Why can't I bring my pet, RV, beer, etc.?

The site of the gathering is a state owned property, and these are their rules for use. Plus, we want to keep the gathering fun and family friendly for all!
